The lodge is run by an Aboriginal joint venture company with various private shareholders including the Liidli Kue First Nation, located in Fort Simpson, NT, and the Nahanni Butte First Nation located in Nahanni Butte, NT. The lodge is completely handbuilt from local timber and is integrated into thesurrounding landscape with much of the furniture carved by local craftspeople using wood from the area.
North Nahanni Naturalist Lodge's mission is to "provide first class quality accommodation, guides and services to the diverse cultures who want to experience our beautiful land and unique culture." |
