Venture Investments

Notice: The BDIC Venture Investment Program is currently under review and for the time being will no longer be taking any new applications.

The BDIC invests in businesses in return for cumulative redeemable preferred shares carrying annual dividends. The amount of dividend reflects the premium for the investment risk. These investments are long term in nature.

Common shares cannot be be bought back or surrendered before all the preferred shares are redeemed and common dividends cannot be declared unless the payment of preferred dividends are up to date.
