Buildings constructed prior to 1990 are still rife with an invisible hazard: asbestos.

In fact, this dangerous mineral remains the number one killer of workers in B.C. With any sort of demolition or renovation work, it’s vital to keep workers protected from asbestos exposure. Join us for this FREE seminar and become familiar with the risks surrounding asbestos. You’ll discover how to identify common asbestos-containing materials and the regulatory requirements you need to know prior to disturbing asbestos-containing materials.

Learning Objectives:

  • Discover how and where asbestos exposure may occur
  • Steps to take to protect you and your staff
  • The regulations surrounding asbestos-containing materials

Presented by Jeff Clare and Ashley Teister, WorkSafeBC.
