How Canadians do business has changed. Adopting digital technologies is a must in today’s marketplace. To stay competitive and grow, small and medium-sized businesses need to adopt new digital technologies and tools. The BDIC wants to help small businesses in the NWT grow and thrive by going digital.

The BDIC, in partnership with the Government of Canada, is delivering the Canada Digital Adoption Program (CDAP) specifically the Grow Your Business Online stream, in the Northwest Territories. This initiative aims to help small businesses get their business online, boost their e-commerce presence or help digitalize operations.

Eligible businesses will receive a micro-grant of up to $2,400 to help with the costs related to adopting e-commerce and will be supported by a network of e-commerce advisors.

To support this initiative, the BDIC is working with Digital Main Street to roll-out digital and e-commerce platforms across the NWT and has e-commerce advisors who can assist entrepreneurs in growing their businesses online.
