Co-organizing the  Inuvik Job Fair is the the Western Arctic Business Development Corporation in Inuvik, NT.  They will be on site at the Midnight Sun Complex to speak to individuals seeking employment and for individuals interested in self-employment and or starting a new business.

We cordially invite you to participate in the upcoming Inuvik Job Fair 2017 to be held on October 18^th, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Midnight Sun Complex.

The purpose of the Inuvik Job Fair 2017 is to provide employers the opportunity to publicize job positions that are currently or often available with their companies and to give current job seekers a chance to meet local employers and submit job applications.

The first Inuvik Job Fair 2016 was a great success.  A total of 30 employers participated in the event, each employer had their own booth to showcase their organization and current job opening/s. At the end of the event, there were more than 56 job applications received and at 11 least applicants were hired.  Moreover, one employer commented, the event  was “very worthwhile as those 4 (hired) are valuable staff that I may have never met.”

This event is being organized by Regional Training Partnership (RTP), an informal group in Inuvik who meet monthly to share partnership funding for training that is meaningful to local employers.
