Join us at the BDIC for a presentation by the Workers Safety and Compensation Commission on Working with WSCC to Build Your Safety Program. 

This is a new program from WSCC to assist small businesses in understanding their obligations under the legislation for Occupational Health and Safety.

The Safety legislation applies to anyone conducting businesses in the Northwest Territories who have employees, and this presentation will help demystify the laws and regulations.

At the end of the workshop, participants will have a better understanding of:

• The WSCC
• Legislated obligations for safety and compensation
• Safety policies and procedures for their business
• Hazard identification and risk assessment

A goal of the workshop is that businesses have a written draft OHS Policy for their business.
