Online Business Video Conference Sessions Available
YELLOWKNIFE (February 22, 2012) – Residents of the Northwest Territories (NWT) can now learn valuable business skills online in the comfort of their own home. The Northwest Territories Business Development and Investment Corporation (BDIC) in partnership with Canada Business NWT has announced online business webcasts that broadcast live video conference learning sessions to Northerners.
Content for these learning sessions is provided by The Alberta Business Link and includes a variety of different subjects such as, preparing a business plan, secrets to successful selling, small business accounting basics, and much more.
David Ramsay, Minister Responsible for the Business Development and Investment Corporation said “Having access to business learning sessions can greatly increase the success of first time business owners and entrepreneurs across the NWT. The continued education of our business owners contributes to a strong sustainable North.”
